Terms of use

Who we are

Barlune (barlune.app) is run by [Your name], Norway. Contact: hello@barlune.app.

What the service does

Barlune helps you build a drinks menu from the bottles you have and share it with your guests through a link and QR code. Guests can read recipes, order drinks from you and rate them.

Your account

You sign in with Google or an email link. Keep access to your account to yourself; you're responsible for what happens in it.

Event Passes and payment

Building and previewing a menu is free. Publishing a menu needs one Event Pass, bought per event or as a pack of 10.

Payments are handled by Stripe, which acts as the merchant of record: Stripe charges you, adds any sales tax or VAT, and sends the receipt.

A published menu stays live until 7 days after the event date (or longer if you extend it), and never longer than 12 months after purchase plus any extension.

When you publish, you ask for access right away and accept that the 14-day right of withdrawal ends once the menu is published. Our refund policy still gives you a full refund until the day of your event.

The beta

During the closed beta, Event Passes come free with an invite code and checkout is switched off. The service may change, break or be paused while we test it, and beta data may be reset with notice.

Alcohol, guests and the law

You're the host. You're responsible for following the laws where your event takes place, including the legal drinking age, licensing rules and serving responsibly.

Barlune doesn't sell or serve alcohol and doesn't take payments from guests. The age screen is a reminder for guests, not an age check.

Your content

You keep the rights to what you add (names, notes, photos). You confirm you have the right to use it and give us permission to show it to the people you share your menu with.

Fair use

Don't use the service for anything illegal, to harass anyone, or to overload or break it. We may suspend accounts that do.

Liability

We work hard to keep the service running, but provide it as it is. As far as the law allows, we're not liable for indirect losses, and our total liability is limited to what you paid us in the 12 months before the claim. Your rights as a consumer under Norwegian law aren't affected.

Changes and governing law

We may update these terms and will say so on this page. Norwegian law applies, and disputes go to the Norwegian courts unless your consumer rights say otherwise.
